What type of teams is Septima built for?

Septima is built for B2B teams that need more than a task list — operations, product, strategy, and cross-functional teams who work across multiple projects and people.

How long does integration take?

Most clients are live within 2 to 4 weeks. Septima connects to your existing systems via APIs, SFTP, email ingestion, or direct database connections — there's no need to rip out what you already have. We start with your highest value workflow, prove the savings, and expand from there. There's no six-month implementation project and no army of consultants.

What systems and data sources do you support?

Septima connects to virtually any data source: custodian platforms, trading systems, ERPs, CRMs, market data providers, fund administrators, banking portals, and regulatory databases. If it has an API, a file export, or an email feed, we can ingest it. Our integration library covers 200+ common financial and operational systems out of the box.

Where is data stored and how is it secured?

All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We operate on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure with data residency options across the UK, EU, and US. Role-based access controls, full audit trails, and regular penetration testing are standard. Your data never leaves your chosen jurisdiction.

We have a bespoke system that nobody else uses. Can Septima connect to it?

Almost certainly yes. Our connector architecture is designed to integrate with non-standard systems, legacy platforms, and bespoke internal tools — not just off-the-shelf products. If it exposes data in any structured form, we can work with it. If it does not, we can usually work around it via file-based ingestion.

Our IT team is small. How much do we need from them?

Very little. We need read access to the relevant data sources and someone to approve the connection setup. We handle the integration, normalisation, and configuration. Your IT team does not need to dedicate engineering resource to this — and once it is live, there is nothing for them to maintain on their end.
